Ran IS Ranma from Ranma 1/2. Saotome Genma was her father. It's just that

The aurgument was between myself and one other because the other person
decided that Hitomi is only allowed to base Ranma's life story according to
real life "well documented facts" and not on how things would run in
Hitomi's version of the Ranma 1/2 universe. I was merely defending the
position of Hitomi on the grounds of authorial privledges. That was all. If
you didn't catch what I'm talking about, I've attached the pertanent
mailings to this letter.

What happened at Jusendo.

We'll just have to wait for Hitomi to tells us I guess.

What is Akane's curse.

I believe the curse Hitomi is refering to is the same one that we all
believe seems to follow us around, wheather it be good fortune or bad
fortune. Ergo "The (Insert Your Last Name Here) Curse strikes again!"  :p

What abilities are being covered by this sex change thing if Ran never
went to Jusenkyo.

I believe, although Hitomi doesn't really explain it as such, Ranma visited
the Cursed Springs at the tender age of five or six and not when he/she was
a teenager as it was in the original manga series.
