Today I finished up the first draft of the final chapters of my fanfic
(which has never been sent around the FFML) "Minako: Warrior, Princess,
Sidekick?!?!" which, yes, is a Xena/Sailor Moon crossover starring
Sailor Venus. Now, other than it starting as a sort of a spam-fic and
getting serious on or about part 5 or 6, I'm pretty pleased with it. I
think it has been a good exercise in developing my skill as a writer,
and I've enjoyed working on it & gotten more compliments on it than
anything else I've written. (Let me be clear here. The first parts are
perhaps a bit too tounge-in-cheek but it is not overall a spoof. It's
fairly seriously done. )

Now, the point of this announcement: I'm going to do a sequel, very
soon. I'm planning on posting the new one on the FFML and then on RAAC &
AFSM. (Except for a revised prologue, I only posted Minako to
alt.fan.sailor-moon). I think it's safe to assume you'd be close to
TOTALLY lost if you haven't read the first story. Rather than inundate
the fragile remailer, I'm just saying that you guys might want to check
it out in advance at:

The final chapter & epilogue should be out of the pre-read stage & have
final edits done by the end of the week, and I've already started on the
sequel.  That I want to bank a couple of chapters on before sending out.
Still, I'm on a creative roll, big-time... I might be ready to start
posting the sequel earlier.

I just need to figure out a better name than Minako2. ^_^;;;
