Damn, I just love/hate it when you present us with an ambiguous
reference.  Always gets me wondering as to what you're scheming next...

Not really scheming.  ^_^  By the end of the story I hope it was clear
that the person in question was Pluto's younger self.

      "Pluto?  Are you paying attention?"  Queen Serenity sighed as
she took note of where Pluto's eyes strayed to.  It seemed the Royal
Ball Pluto and Endymion attended together left a deep impression on
the Guardian of Time.  Duty had forced Serenity to have one of her
senshi escort him when her daughter had been too sick to attend.
Little would she know that this would come from it.

BWAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!  Never would've seen THAT coming.  Pluto having
feelings for Endymion.  Now that's what I was hoping someone would do;

Usagi's mother?  And later, Serena will eventually be able to transform
into Serenity?  Too weird for me.  Someone please explain....

You have it right.  Usagi's original name was Serenity just like her
mother.  I guess the moon kingdom names their children after the
mother.  Usagi is Chibi-Usa's full name.

      "You're welcome."  Mercury smiled brightly.  It wasn't
really that much of a chore to baby sit this human.  She looked
him over once again. Definitely not a baby.

Hehe.  Go Mercury Go!!

Sailor Stars proved that Mercury can certainly take the initiative when

What's Serenity talking about?

Future Pluto gave Serenity the hint that her daughter would be alive in
the future.  She was not supposed to do that because any information
could affect the future.  That was the act of kindness she gave to
Serenity.

since she watched Nodoka give birth to one Saotome Ranma.

Present day...

      Ranma waited patiently at the bridge with a box of chocolates
in his hands.  This was his second week in a row.  It was only fair he
figured.  One thousand years to two weeks didn't seem like very much.

Ranma will learn the truth of what happened in the moon kingdom and of
Pluto's fate.  We all know that Usagi and the rest of the kingdom were
reincarnated on earth a thousand years later.  Pluto stood watching the
time gate and waited for both the princess's revival and Ranma's birth. 
Ranma decides to wait at the same bridge he met Pluto on Valentines
