Hmm. I had considered doing this myself, a long time ago. It looks
like an interesting start, but I do have to make some comments on the
characterizations....

Ranma Saotome as Paul Atreides

	Naturally. :) But a quibble--Paul is a relatively quiet,
introspective young man. Only with some stretching could I see Ranma put
into that sort of position--and it is necessary, unless you plan to make
som serious plot changes.

Genma Saotome as Duke Leto Atreides

	Here's perhaps the biggest problem. Duke Leto was a good,
honorable man. Saotome Genma is neither of these, not at all. Put in the
position of the Duke in the book, Genma would have run beyond the
Imperium's borders and gone renegade at the first chance.

Nadoka Saotome as the Lady Jessica

	Her name's Nodoka. Other than that...I can actually see this one.

Kuno as Feyd Rautha

	Very good.

Pantyhose Tarou as "the Beast Rabban"

	Probably not. The Beast was a stupid, harsh incompetent. Tarou is
definitely a thinking, plotting type. He'd be better suited as....

Happousai as Baron Vladimir Harkonnen

	...the Baron. Happousai is too frivolous for this role; again,
Tarou seems to be cut out for the Baron.

Kodachi as Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mochiam

	Try Cologne. You want an old witch for this Reverend Mother. She's
crafty, not insane.

Ryouga Hibiki as the Spacing Guild Navigator

	:) Good joke. Keep that one.

Shampoo as Chani

	This would also take a bit of a stretch. I think Ukyou would be
better suited for this. Their two personalities seem to fit much better.

Dr. Tofu as Dr. Wellington Yueh

	Another stretch. No need to match the occupations so closely.

and a boatload more of people I couldn't cast right away because I 
haven't read the book in so damn long.  Oh well.  

	Well, I do hope you get around to this. It would be a highly
interesting fusion....
