Two quick questions & some words of thanks for asking and answering a question
so I didn't have to.

First of all, thanks to whoever asked and answered about the drinking age in
japan, (I accidentally deleted the messages, so I lost your names, sorry...)
It was helpful to find out.  

Now, two seemingly unrelated questions:

1.
	I understand that in Japan, it's generally frowned upon for high school-age
young people to work, as school should be the first/only priority.  Is there a
mimimum employment age, below which age a person has to to be employed wit
special permits?  If so, what would someone under that age need to do if they
desired/needed employment?

2.
	I'm placing Kuno in the Japanese Ground Defense Forces, as it seems like
something he might choose after high school. However, I need to give him some
sort of rank.  (I'm assuming he's dedicated/snobbish enough to rise in rank up
to the point where his thickhededness will get him demoted again, but due to
my lack of familiarity with military ranks, I got no clue what would seem
appropiate, and it would be nice to have a specific rank by wich he'd have
everyone address him.) So the question is this:	What rank could I give Kuno?
