I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize for starting what appearantly
was a useless thread that did not serve the purpose I intended it for.
Remind me to use more tact next time. Before anyone leaves that thread with
bad feelings, however, let me set a few things straight on my end.

1. I do not hate you if you do not use the fanfic tags specified in the
FFML FAQ.
2. I end up archiving most of the fanfics that dont use standard tags
manually.
3. I really did not mean to push this issue as one of major importance,
because it is not. I'm sure everyone who posted on that thread would have
rather been talking about a fanfic or writing their own.
4. I'm not holding grudges, and that includes Kevin, whom I was very
argumentative with... I find that if you wait a while you'll find that
everyone has something worthwhile to say one one topic or another.

And finally, Gary was nice enough to send me the FAQ for some quick analysis
and it seems that the FAQ is with me. I'll go ahead and end this message
with the 'tags' section of the FAQ.

* WHAT'S THIS ABOUT "SUBJECT TAGS"?

To help members of the list sort the mail they receive from the FFML
more efficiently please use the following tags in the subject header of
your posts to the FFML.

[Fanfic] = Marks a message as containing a fanfic story\chapter.
[C&C] = Message containing Comments & Criticisms on a fanfic.
[Spam], [Spamfic] = Self-explanatory. Sig characters go here. :)
[Info], [Announce] = Side notes, not quite spam, but not 'fics either.
[FAQ] = Frequently Asked Questions update or Resource Guide.
[Admin] = Moderators' (WW & Tybalt) use only. If a post comes over the
list with this tag, you should read it.
[Lemon] = See the section below on 'LEMON' fanfics.

Tags are also used to identify which series a fanfic is based on, e.g.
[Ranma], [BGC], [Inu-Yasha]. This will help direct your story toward
those who would like to read it. Other tags may indicate the general
tone of a fic, such as [Dark] or [WAFF] (the latter is an acronym for
Warm and Fuzzy Feeling).
