Especially TM TV 2.

Shin Tenchi is all about the breakup of the Tenchi Family, that is just
about as devorced as it could be, from MNE.

I was talking/thinking more about the plot itself, especially how the bad
girl in these two are similar, in a sense. ^_^

that was in the sub as well, It leads crecidence to the rumour I heard
that a third Tenchi TV series would be coming out in the Late Night slot
that Miyu and El-Hazzard had, that would be a retelling of the OVA's
starting with Manatsu.

Ouch.  When do they plan the third OAV then?  That is way more in demand
than continuing the TV continuity.

Nope, and even more so, Washu calls him Katsuhito.

I wouldn't call that inconsistency...Washu never had a chance to call Yosho
by any name either during the second OAV series anyway.  Yosho appeared with
Washu only in episode 9...and they were partying then, no real talking.

Its puzzling too that in the slide scenes in the end of the OAV 1st
series...Yosho has another named tagged to him...I think an artwork of him
had "Masato Masaki" too.

Also, Washu had deceived a lot of the others throughout the second OAV too.
Episode 9 comes to mind, and of course 13.  So I'm willing to bet that she
too is going along with Yosho's disguise as well.

5) If you look closely at Ryoko, she has no crystals.

Wrong, she does have her gem on her left side.

Uh, I haven't seen it yet.  That was Chris' observation.
