Konnichiwa, minna.  Seems like there's a whole bunch of people clamoring
about the ML not being up, not getting mail, getting mail that is
outdated, etc.  I'm sure others have figured this out by now, but there's
a pretty big backlog of files waiting to be sent.  Well, at least
according to one of the administrators.  So basically, the only thing you
can do is go to the FFML homepage and check out the archives.  It's
pretty much no use sending messages to the FFML asking if it's down, ne? 
Actually, the FAQ page or whatever DOES say NOT to email the list if you
think it's down.  Of course, everyone who has been emailing knows that,
ne?  hehe.  Anyway, hope this gets to people in time to prevent further
inquiries regarding the mailing list's status.  *grin*  I also hope I'm
not ADDING to the backlog myself.  Ja mata!
