What love for naught

bye---------

	What love for naught
	that this night she sleeps
	On yonder bed
	frail and cold.

Her noble cheeks grace the silks
	her form denies all hopes
her eyes light the room with fire
	her hair sweeps away clouds.

	I love this woman
I love her with my soul
	ever seeing
	ever knowing

I shall not touch this woman
	her beauty is too sweet.

My carress would be too great a sin upon my chest
a weight I could not bear...

for if I cause my love pain this night,
my grief would be so great,
as a thousand bloody torrents of rain
	wash over my cursed soul

	But her sweet skin
	the taste of her lips...
	they call me,
	as a bee to honey.

To taste the of the sweetness,
	to suckle of the love.
The power I feel from my passion
	Is so great...

	She lays there,
	breathing, watching, waiting.
I raise my head. I have dined enough for the night.
	There will be more, tomorrow.

	She sleeps now,
	as I move away.
I wipe the blood from my lips.
	Akane's blood.

	I return that night,
	cuddling to her breast,
	giving her my warmth,
as only a pet could do.
