Barry looked at the pool of dark red blood on the ceramic floor in front of
him. His partner Jill unholstered her beretta and moved smoothly into the
next room, searching for the source of the blood - which would most likely
be another member of the S.T.A.R.S. Bravo team.
"What is it?" he said slowly as he examined the blood before him. Not many
circumstances led to a random pool of blood in the middle of a dining room.
Even fewer circumstances could lead to the removal of a body without as much
as a clue to its new location. A scream from the next room caught his
attention and he eyed the door as Jill ran back to him.
"What is it?" he asked - then he saw it: The walking dead. The
impossible. He'd walked right out of his worst nightmare and straight into
a B-Grade horror movie.
"What... What *is* it?" He asked. His mind was devoid of the varied
questions one might ask in his situation - a zombie was walking toward him
and he wanted to know how the hell this was happening.
"It's a monster! It killed Kennith from the Bravo team! I think it was
going to eat him!"
"Let me take care of this," Barry said as he brandished his pride and joy:
a Colt Python. He'd made a sort of pet out of his favorite weapon when he
wasn't on a life or death mission, and he knew everything there was to know
about it as a result. The current situation required him to aim the gun at
the target, pull the trigger, and blow the crap out of whatever the hell was
slowly walking toward him.
He aimed and gently pulled the trigger, sending a round through the
zombie's chest. The mass of rotting flesh staggered forward to within a few
feet of him and fell forward in an attempt to sink its rotting teeth into
clean, fresh flesh. Barry pulled the trigger again, this time removing the
undead's head in a spray of blood; some of which spattered onto his
clothing. He kneeled and examined the dead body before him, his mind racing
to accept the unacceptable as a rotten odor confirmed that which he would
have rather denied...
"What... *IS* it?" he said with power, as if the strength of his voice
would bring answers, "Well, we'd better report this to Wesker..."

An Evil Production
Inspired by RESIDENT EVIL
Massacre of the Damned
I used a scene from the game to form a quick 'concept preview' of my basic
ideas (Including the badly written 'what is it' dialog from the game). When
I write this I will not use characters and situations from Resident Evil,
but instead will create everything from scratch. You can expect guts,
blood, gore, and the undead, however. And it will be *BIG*. I'm going to
aim for at least a megabyte's worth of plain text - more if I can make each
extra page interesting.
Just thought I'd let you all know in advance - beware...
