STANDARD DISCLAIMER:
The following is a character file to go along with my fanfic, "Fushigi
Yuugi - The Fabulous Adventure", which is a crossover with a ton of
CLAMP's stories. I decided to create character files since many people
said they liked FY or CLAMP, but didn't necessarily know all of the
characters in my fanfiction. Hopefully the character files will allow
you a "feel" for the character's background, their possible motives,
etc. I believe this will help you in getting a more accurate picture of
the fanfiction story as a whole.
My character files are seperated into three parts:
1. The first part contains the original CLAMP version of the character
& their background (***WARNING***: There are MAJOR spoilers to the
original CLAMP manga in here. If you haven't read the manga that
corresponds to the character yet, you are forewarned of the spoilers).
This section is concise (to save space & time), and is basically a
small synopsis. Many events/aspects are left out, but I think I nailed
the most important ones.
2. The second part are my fanfiction character statistics (keeping true
_wherever possible_ to the original CLAMP's stats for the character).
Age, date of birth, blood type, etc. are all a part of it.
3. The third part is the actual background of the character in my
fanfiction before PART 1. I invented the backgrounds, taking large
portions of the CLAMP's original concepts and adapting them to fit into
my world. Call it creative licensing.

CHARACTER
FILE: FERIO
1. CLAMP BACKGROUND:
In Magic Knight Rayearth I, Ferio is simply a traveling mercenary, who
weaves a fancy tale about being kicked out of Cefiro's palace for
attempting to steal a piece of jewelry belonging to the benevolent
Princess Emeraud. He encounters the legendary three Magic Knights in
the Forest of Silence and falls in love with Fuu Houji, the Knight who
pilots the Mashin Wyndham. Loyal, steadfast, and brave, Ferio's courage
keeps the Magic Knights on track, and saves them many times from
peril.
In Magic Knight Rayearth II, we discover that Ferio is really the
long-lost brother of Princess Emeraud, and is the rightful heir to
Cefiro's throne as such (since his sister is now dead). His love for
Fuu still endures, but his rashness has been tempered with maturity and
wisdom.

3. FANFICTION BACKGROUND:
Ferio is a Shiseishi of the Byakko Miko. Given the name Shin upon
birth, he also happens to be the Prince-heir of Sairou Country. He is
rash, bold, brave, and not all-together wise, still being young, yet he
knows his duty, and is serious in doing it. Even then, it's often left
up to his older, more tempered sister, Emeraud, to guide him along the
path to Kingly virtues and wise decision-making.
Since the time he was small, Shin has known about his destiny, and has
strove to be the strongest warrior - so that he can be the best Seishi
to his Miko. An accomplished Master of Arms, he can wield any weapon
with skill. He is also an excellent wrestler - despite his small size -
because he is lightning-quick. Many women at court find his
determination and courage admirable, and the handsome scar he bears
across his nose is a topic of much debate among the harems at night!
However, he only has eyes for the lovely, but shy Princess Fuu.
When Kendappa, Gigei and Sohma arrived at court to perform for his
father, he was, at first, mistrustful of them; they were
gypsies, after all. Later, he and Sohma hit it off when she
gave him pointers on how to improve his speed while attacking with his
favorite weapon, a giant scimitar. During a sparring session, they
accidentally discovered each other's Seishi symbols, and the two were
bonded instantly by the truth. They worked-out constantly together,
improving their skills, and Sohma quickly became another big sister to
the young Prince. It was she who suggested that he formally adopt his
Seishi name into his vocabulary, and now, he primarily goes by that
designation, rather than by 'Shin'.
Later, when Yasha came, Ferio was surprised by the spiritual pull he
felt towards the older man. When it was uncovered that Yasha was a
Byakko Seishi as well, it was Ferio's wanderlust, adventure-filled mind
that concocted the scheme to begin the search for the others. Then,
when Sohma returned one day from her random scouting expeditions, she
reported that the Genbu Seishi were coming together also, and that they
were stirring up trouble on the borders of every country, that was when
the three of them decided: they would follow the path that Kuyoh had
foretold for them...
