Nah, not boring at all. It's a nice examination of some issues that goes
through some belivable possibilities without trying to force any
conclusions on us. I liked it.

I only spotted one typo:

turned to Yuka.  "Sure, maybe he first started because his parents
forced him too -- after all, that's the whole reason that stupid
engagement with Akane happened, right?  Or, heck, maybe his dad
just got him started because he wanted his son to be in good shape,
to be more . . . manly."  

Should be 'forced him to'. Wanting Ranma to be more manly sounds more
like Mom, BTW. And it's rather obvious to me why Ranma doesn't just turn
his attackers over to the police (as somebody wondered in the parts that
I snipped). Among other reasons, the police are simply *not* good enough
to do anything to impede Ranma-level martial artists, save perhaps
shooting them, and I'm sure Ranma wouldn't want that..
