Uh... remember that anime episode where Genma sold Ranma to the Daikoku School
of martial arts in exchange for two fish, some rice, and  pickles? And when he
got out of that, another guy who'd been sold Ranma showed up? This rather
supports the idea that Ranma was sold umpteen times. Of course, if you go by
the manga continuum, (which I hate because it has Akari, the Cheap Akane
Clone, and because it gets WAY too wacky towards the middle/end) then you're
right, he was only sold once.

Multiple canon is a bitch, ain't it?
