[ An empty theater. A sudden flash of azure light later, Lavender
appears on his usual chair. He looks around.]

Lavender: Ack ! It seems I've lost Apollo again !

[ Apollo drops beside Lavender on his feet.]

Apollo: We really should practice more boss. This time I landed
           on the chandelier !
Lavender: [ looks at audience ] Sorry folks, we were practicing for
our fic. Anyway, welcome once again to the Synopsis List
              Review !
Apollo: Elsa has just set up her deadline for her fics. They should be
out soon. Well, since she's off directing we get to consume
our meager free time to review fics. At least we get paid
           overtime.
Lavender: Yeah, ever since we started this we get tons of overtime
               pay.
Apollo: Enough of our gripes. On with the fics !

Lavender: These EVA fics are starting to get plentiful !
Apollo: Not that were complaining, it's nice to see a variety of
           fics out there.
Lavender: Well, nice fic. One of the better EVA fics we've read.
Apollo: Nice clean format. Nothing can make reading a fic pleasurable
           than a clean presentation.
Lavender: And the prose is good. Just the right amount of tension.
Another one of your fics that has caught our attention
               Mr. Merced. Ten roses !

Title: Seraphim's Judgment 9d-9f
Series: EVA/Tekno
Genre: Crossover/rewrite
Author: Teknos Warhammer

Lavender: A rewrite of one of the best EVA fics that ever graced the FFML !
We loved the original but we definitely worship the rewrite. Even
though it isn't a pure EVA fic it is damn good ! A must read for
              an EVA fan.
Apollo: It's so good that it's one of our benchmarks for EVA fanfiction.
Nice clean format though it does get dirty a few times.
Lavender: And the thing that we love about this fic is that mostly everyone
survived ! This is one of the reasons that we'll miss Teknos when
he leaves. Hey, BTW Elsa asked us to ask if you can give her your
RL addess so that when you leave we can still give you fanfiction
if you like. She promises to send you only the best ! And for you
               Warhammer , ten roses !

Series: Macho Caballo

Lavender: Since these two are of the same story we'll just lump them together.
Apollo: As we have often said this is one of our favorites on the FFML.
Lavender: And once again James shows us why we like it: a solid plot, though
if you haven't been with the series since the beginning you may get
lost, and the writinmg style. We love James' prose style, though it does
tend to jump around from place to place sometimes.
Apollo: And a good decent format and grammar _and_ spelling. Fanfic writers
sometimes forget that, which can sometimes ruin a fic for those nit pickers
           like us.
Lavender: The high quality inherent in the series is still kept and it's becoming one
fun ride. Once again we ask those who haven't read this to read it !
Ten roses again, Senor Eades !

Lavender and Apollo: BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!!
Lavender: It's... indescribable. And quite funny.

           all that.
Lavender: Read it for a good laugh, folks. Ten roses to Mr. Mattera !

Title: Elegy for a Golden Youth
Series: Ranma 1/2
Genre: Serious
Author: Reid Carson
Email: rcarson@mnsinc.com

Date Sent to FFML: Mar. 10, 1998
Size: 82 Kb

Lavender: You know the damned thing kinda reminds me of the final
cycles of the 'Ramayana', especially the post funeral narration.
Apollo: Yeah, Mr. Carson does not kid when he puts the serious mark in the genre.
It has mixes the happy/sad thing in a nice blend though you don't realize
the happy part unless you look at it at another point of view. Kinda like
something Dunsany would write. And it's clean
Lavender: The first person perspective only enhances the feel and as the cat said
has shades of Dunsanyin it. Incredible how he did that. Ten roses,
Reid. A definite must read to the others out there.

Lavender: I remember Elsa telling me about Ordinary. The first part came out
              last.... November or so ?
Apollo: I think so. And a nice little story too. And quite self-contained it seemed.
Lavender: Now it's three parts long ! Not that were complaining.lt's a fresh look
at the fiancee business. And it's nice.
Apollo: And clean ! Nice format and a few grammar mistakes. You do not spell
'wear' as 'where', Mr. Cheng. Though that can be excused.
vender: Eight roses would be enough for the fic I think. Keep up the good
              work !

Lavender: Makes you wanna cry doesn't it ?
Apollo: Clean and nice, though why does he have to attach it and
not just put it in in the message ?
Lavender: That's the way he does it. Anyway a marvelous piece.
Really get's down there and warms the heart. This is
what a WAFF should feel. Eight roses.

Date Sent to FFML: March 17, 1998
Size: 66 Kb

Lavender: Another of the fics that we love.
Apollo: Clean format as all the others.
Lavender: And as always the plot keeps you riveted. And the
fact that Akane thinks Nabiki is a lesbian and that
little talk <*koff*> between Nabiki and Ukyou really
              kicked ass.
Apollo: Yeah, okonomiyaki sauce on -
Lavender: Anyway, another classic in the making Mark.
Read this folks ! Ten roses , Mr MacKinnon.

               Eight roses

Lavender: Another good dark fic.
Apollo: If there is such a thing. Clean format and no grammar mistakes
           that I could see.
Lavender: An interesting look at Hinako's ageing effect. And the fic was still
nice though depressing. Seven roses, Mr. Tatum.
