Not that I have anything against that, but still I'm curious why the
fanfics don't look at it that way. 

My personal theory is that Queen Serenity's spell did send the souls of
*almost* everyone who died in the Moon Kingdom's final battle to Earth,
where they would be reborn in a time of peace. The exceptions were the
Sailor Senshi, who would be needed to *prepare* that time of peace when
the children of the Moon Kingdom could be reborn.
	Of course, the Elder Senshi of the time could have appeared on
Earth - *but not necessarily in Japan.* Anyone want to take this one up?
