Than a huge tip of the hat to Sarah then for having the patience to do
something few others would attempt to do...:)

But on to the point... I don't plan on doing this again next year. By
next January, I'll be too busy in real life to handle it; even this
year, I'm consistently more delayed than I expected.

Well I'm not promising anything, but I might take a stab at doing this.
But only if I find a better way to count vounts (probably use a form and
have a program calculate things out..).

Of course that's a big if....

I encourage anyone else who's interested to take it up, though. I
think the responses were numerous enough to sustain it... if just
barely... and it's likely to grow in the future, as these things do.

I think the responses itself is encouraging at least. 42 people that
venture out and read different series of fanfics and decided to vote on
them. One must assume then that are even more people out there that read
these types of fic's and just deciced not to vote (I've passed over alot
of the recent Ranma fic votes simply because I have not read the bulk of
Ranma fic's to give a qualified vote on the subject.)

Plus series beyond Sailor Moon and BGC showed resonably well in this vote,
which means there are readers out there that like series like this. I can
only hope this means more people will write fic's beyond the main stream..

The most important thing (IMO) all this shows is that, no matter how
obscure you think a series is, you'll have an audience. (And a fairly
dedicated one, from the looks of it. I wouldn't have guessed I had 14
readers -total-, let alone 14 of the 42 who voted.)

Plus your dealing with the added plus of having a clean slate to work
with. No worrying if this story has been done before with this series
because not much has been done with the series...:)

It's why I look forward to doing more with the Hime-chan timeline in the
near future...:)

Hopefully this wwill encourage more fanfics about different series.

Hopefully...:) I'd like to see fanfic like this continue to grow and
evolve considiring that Ranma fanfic does have to decrease in volume at
some point in future (Orginal plot lines are running low and Ranma 1/2 is
finished in Japan). It'd be nice to see a mixture of series come in a take
it's place in US fandom...

Ja ne!!
