One reading of it is that Shampoo did not in fact love Mousse, but
wanted to see Ranma's reaction, hoping that Ranma would come and
challenge Mousse for her hand. The sad part would be that Ranma
did not, and now she's stuck with Mousse.
(Yes, it is possible to read the same story in different ways, and
no, that does not mean that one of the readings is wrong)
One wonders though, if this was Donny meant it this way or not. All
I say is that it can be read this way, not that it should be.
Yep. I did mean it this way. The sad part for me was having her say
"You, I love." to Mousse. Felt very dirty writing that line :(
