Yup, it's me again, with a little bit of something that just came to me as
I was running to my morning classes. BlueSeed belongs to Takada Yuzo,
Takeshobo, Star Child, etc. Suing me won't do any good; I'm a clooege
student, fer cryin' out loud!

The figure veiled in the shadows of the cavern snarled and turned his back
on his lord, not wanting to look upon the face of the woman who had
betrayed him. How dare she take this victory away from him? How dare she
seek out another man, when her rightful place was with-

He shook his head, pressing his eyes shut against an encroaching headache.
*No! She is the bride of our god Susano-O! Her rightful place is at his
side!* He clenched his fists as his mind
relentlessly recycled the previous events.... His hated enemy, the boy who
had turned traitor on him after he had blessed him with the mark of the
Aragami, alive again after he had savagely ripped him to bits....
Kushinada-hime raising her hand, encasing that imperfect soul in vines,
whispering to him with her coy voice....

*So you would rule this misbegotten land with that bastard at your side,
eh, Kushinada-hime? It should be ME there-*

He stopped his train of thought, his face twisted into a puzzled scowl.
*No, it should be with Lord Susano-O at her side! Has her heart twisted
against me and our goal?* He leaned heavily against an outcropping of
rock and rubbed his temples with one cold hand. "Kaede-hime," he
whispered, "I fought for you, I served for you, I have done your bidding
and so much more, and yet you turn on me? Have you deserted me for that
inferior trash?"

Glancing back over his shoulder, Murakumo stared at Kaede's form as she
knelt beside the still, vine-wrapped form of Kusanagi, and with a growl of
anger, whirled around and trudged away.
