[We see a theater where our reviewers are in. Lavender
and Apollo are sleeping in their respective chairs.]
Voice: Hey ! Wake up !
[ The duo open their eyes slowly and yawn]
Apollo: Well , Hello there folks !
Lavender: Yeah , hello. Anyway welcome to another tortu...er
review session of the Synopsis list review.
Apollo: Me and Lavender had a two week vacation since Elsa
was off studying for her finals and that sort of stuff.
Anyway were back and were here to catch up on the fics.
Lavender: And since Elsa still has to go to the prom, she left us
to do this.
Apollo: Imagine 'Carrie' but twice as painful. We're lucky she didn't
get us to escort her. Enough with the pleasentries, on with the
fics !
Lavender: BTW, we didn't order this up. Elsa just cut and pasted everything
so there might be a few problems.

Genre: Crossover
Author: David L. Lindquist Jr.

Lavender: Since we already reviewed the earlier version, there's not much
to say.
Apollo: Well, David did improve the format and cleaned it up. It passed even
though it was _still_ an attachment.
Lavender: Stop rubbing it in Apollo. Anyway the work has definitely improved
so eight roses should be enough.

Lavender: One of the better BGC fics out there Curtiss does a good job
writing the fic and he has kept the quality of the fic up for the
past year.
Apollo: You're reading that from the paper.
Lavender: Yeah, Elsa was one of the prereaders so she likes it a lot.
Apollo: Anyway a good clean work. No problems in the grammar department.
Lavender: Yeah and Elsa says you better get ten roses or I end up married
to Asuza Shiratori. Soooo, here's the ten roses.

Title: The Awakening: Prologue
Series: Neon Genesis Evangelion
Genre: Contiunity
Author: Sailor Alpha
Email: AlphSailor@aol.com
Homepage: Currently in progress...
Date Sent to FFML: March 5th, 1998
Size: 13K
Lavender: Interesting......
Apollo: A few problems with the usual spelling mistakes and grammar problems
Lavender: Well, since NGE fics are rare, I don't usually have something to benchmark
them with, except for 'Seraphim's judgement' and 'Neo Genesis Evanjellydonut'
which both don't count since one takes the timeline and twists it around like a
pretzel -
Apollo: What NGE fic does not ?
Lavender: - and the other one is a parody. But since it's obvious that you're going to twist
the timeline around like a pretzel we're going to give you seven roses for the
initial effort. I'll wait for the other parts for the judgement.

Lavender: Uhhhh...I know this is a lemon but did he have to do it with Kuno ?
Apollo: You're not drooling ?
Lavender: Don't get me wrong but sex with Kuno is something I do not see
Ranma doing.
Apollo: Except of course if he is a sex maniac like this particular one.
Lavender: Anyway on the prose and other stuff it's good.
Apollo: Clean format and such stuff help a lot too.
Lavender: Nine roses for you Mr. Gaffney.

Author: Bob Barnes

Lavender: Another look at the concept first presented in the fic ' The Masks That
We Must Wear'. It's shaping up to be a nice fic.
Apollo: Format and grammar are clean.
Lavender: I think Ranma and Akane should get an Oscar for their trouble if they
really were acting. The interesting twists and the concept make this
a must read.

Lavender: AAAAAHHHHHH !!!!! She left us hanging on the cliff !
Apollo: Enough with the corny jokes, Lavender. Anyway, the format
and all that's clean.
Lavender: Sorry about earlier, but Krista did you really have to end with
a cliff hanger ? Hurry up with the next chapter ! This fic is
a must read Ranma 1/2 lover/addict/junkie or not. The prose
style keeps the action going and the quality of the chapters
keeps improving. Not that it was excellent enough in the first
place. Ten roses, Krista ! And hurry up with twenty !

Lavender: [ drooling] l...e...m...o...n....
Apollo: OK, since my boss is incapacitated _again_ I'll review the lemon.
First format's good and all that. Second the sex is good and all
that, not that I know anything about human sex since I'm just a
cat , I'm just gauging it bu the boss' response...
Lavender: [still drooling] g...o...o...d.....
Apollo: Anyway, judging from the boss' reaction it's good. I think that
corresponds with nine roses. Anyway we better move on or his
drool gets on the carpet.

[ Lavender has returned to his senses thanks to a bucket of water from
above]
Lavender: [ looking up] Hey ! I thought you left for your prom !
Voice: This is just a recording. [-click-]
Lavender: Back to the review. [ Reads fic] Well... this is interesting.
Apollo: A very interesting look at the concept that Nodoka is a
stubborn bitch about the honor thing.
Lavender: Well, It is perfectly reasonable. Though I haven't seen
many fics use this idea. The writing style also serves to
enhance the effect. Heck this is one dark fic.
Apollo: Grammar and all the rest is clean.
Lavender: Ten roses, good news for the people who love to see characters
go through hell, bad for those who love cute cuddly warm all over
sugar sweet and whatever fics.

of the Shampoo 1/2 series.

chapter just adds more reasons why you should read this series.
Ten roses again.

Title: The Insanity Continues Vol 1 Chap 1 (repost)
Title: The Insanity Continues Vol 3 Chap 1
Series: Ranma 1/2
Genre: Continuation, Comedy
Author: Lord Archive
Email: archive@mich.com
Homepage: www.mich.com/~archive
Lavender: Since these two were made by the same author and they are
from the same series, we just cobbled them together.
Apollo: Anyway, both are written cleanly and no spelling mistakes.
Lavender: And both are excellent examples of Ranma fanfiction. Lord Archive
is one of Elsa's favorite authors since he wrote the original
'Trapped' which I believe is the original title of volume one of T.I.C.
She specifically requested that I give you ten roses. So that's
what you get. And I most definitelt agree with her.

Clean format yet again.
Lavender:Though a lot of really bad stuff happens that is to be expected.
Hell, he didn't call it ' Worst Case Scenario' for nothing. Well,
another nice decent fic from SKJAM!. Nine roses.

Lavender: One of the funniest fics of all time. And I definitely like
this Starlight Knight guy.
Apollo: Good format and clean spelling.
Lavender: Definitely a must read.We advise reading the whole thing
but you'll probably burst a blood vessel from all the laughing.
A definite must read. Ten roses for Mr. Oliver.

Author: Angus MacSpon
Email: macspon@ihug.co.nz
Homepage: http://shell.ihug.co.nz/~macspon/
Date Sent to FFML: 8 March, 1998
Size: 67K
Lavender: Another of the most definitely interesting SM fics out there.
But it does bring up one interesting question....
Apollo: What the hell is the obnoxious stuck-up bitch doing about this ?!?!
Lavender: Now, Apollo, I know you hate Pluto but hey, give her a break she
does have to handle all messes that we create. Anyway still what
the hell happened to Pluto ? She should have handled the problem
before it happened or did you do her in first like what Elsa did in one
of her fics ? Anyway interesting premise. Ten roses if Apollo agrees
with your grammar.
Apollo: Good format and all that. Still I wonder what the hell happened.
Lavender: Ten roses it is and were impatient for the next chapter already.
So crank up your creative juices and write !

Lavender: All that we can say is whoever wrote the fic you MSTed has
to hit him/herself on the head with a hammer. Hard.
Apollo: I am in total agreement with you. Anyway it was really nice to
see it made fun of.
Lavender: Ten roses for the MST, Megane ! And may you MST forever !

Genre: Epic/Drama/Dark
Author: AJ
Email: ajwoo@ucdavis.edu

Date Sent to FFML: 3/10/98
Size: 12K
Lavender: An interesting little fic. Elsa loves all three titles so she's awaiting
the next chapter excitedly. The first chapter was a nice intro.
Apollo: A few grammar and spelling mistakes.
Lavender: Though it is a bit shaky here and there. Anyway seven roses for
the first try.

Title: Tenchi Muyo! Exile #6 "Avatar of the Goddess"
Series: Tenchi Muyo!
Genre: Adventure
Author: Trakal
Email: Trakal@map.com
Homepage: http://members.xoom.com/Trakal
Date Sent to FFML: circa 3/8/98
Lavender: Ok, we have to admit that we weren't quite interested in this
series on the first place...
Apollo: Plus I hate the format, though the spelling's fine.
Lavender: So we didn't read this until neccessary. I admit it is an interesting
premise, but somehow this didn't seem to keep us awake.
But that's just us. We aren't really big Tenchi Muyo fans.
Seven roses, Trakal.
*********************
Lavender: OK, since we missed two weeks worth of submissions to the
Synopsis List and were too tired of writing, we'll just do the
two weeks on one-on-one basis up[on request. Though there are
certainly favorites in there. Especially 'Nuke 'Em Til They Glow',
I personally think Elsa is in love with ASK, and my personal favorite
'Youma Blues', where being the bad guy in a SI is not such a
bad idea. How about 'GENOM Blues' ? Naaaah. Anyway, they're
two of the standouts who really deserve ten roses.
Apollo: See you next week !
