Trident: Why are we doing the opening for this?
Sakura: Flashman was up until 2 AM last night looking for images for
his new web page. Especially that one from the Manga where Uranus
and Moon kiss, he didn't find that last one and that, on top of the
fact that he's been getting ready for I-Con, made him a bit...
punchy.
(Flashman wonders in.)
Flashman:(Dazed) Duuuuuhhhhh... which way did he go Gex? Which way
did he go? (Falls over and curls into a fetal position.)
Trident: O_o
Zero: I see what you mean.
Sakura: So, before we begin this fic, let me ask if any fan artists
out there are interested in helping draw some images for Flashmans
page and if any one has seen a page with the "kiss" image that I
mentioned earlier, we'd appreciate it if you tell us where it is.
Thanks.
(Sakura hits a button and the fic begins.)

Hi folks,

Flashman here. I've finally found a title for what is going to
become a MEGA-crossover between at least five different series and
possibly more (some aren't even Anime) and I hope you like it.

C&C appreciated. MSTs adored. Flames printed out and stomped on.

	A BRIEF OVERVIEW:

10,000 years ago, the Silver Millennium ruled over all the planets
in the galaxy with the kind and just hand of Queen Serenity. However,
an evil force known as the Dark Kingdom attacked and waged war on
all of the Silver Millennium until it finally reached the Moon
Kingdom.
The final battle ended in a draw.
For while Metalia and her servant Beryl, were able to kill the Inner
Sailor Senshi, the Moon Princess and the Prince of Earth; Queen
Serenity, perhaps mad with grief, called upon the full power of the
Ginzuishou and banished the Dark Kingdom into the future.
Then, using the last of her strength, Serenity sent the souls of all
those the Dark Kingdom had killed into the future as well, to combat
the Dark Kingdom if and when it returned.
Meanwhile, the only planet to survive, Earth, attempted to recreate
the technology of the Silver Millennium in the hope of resurrecting
it.
What they got was Machine Empire Baranoia.
The evil Machine Empire attacked humanity with a savagery that was
every bit the equal of the Dark Kingdoms and the Earths only hope was
the creation of King Ranger.
The war ended when King Ranger finally managing to banish Baranoia
to the far reaches of the galaxy. However, the damage had been done.
For all those who remembered the Silver Millennium had perished in
the war and King Ranger placed himself into suspended animation to
await the day that Baranoia would return.
The next horror that Earth sustained was an attack by the demon
Ankoshin and its servant Amakusa. Fortunately, through the efforts
of the noble warriors Haoumaru and Nakoruru, the evil spirits plans
were foiled.

However, there is a separate continuity:

In this timeline, the Outer Senshi were present during the final
battle with Metalia and their added fire power was able to help push
the enemy back and also allowed Queen Serenity to use the power of
the Ginzuishou to destroy Metalia, without sacrificing her own life.
Two years later, Princess Serenity of the Moon and Prince Endymion
of Earth were married.
Two months after that, Machine Empire Baranoia was accidently
created and attacked the Silver Millennium. This time, King Ranger
did not fight alone and in a grand battle on Saturn, the armies of
the Silver Millennium and the might of King Ranger were able to
annihilate Baranoia for all time and allowed King Ranger to continue
his life. He married Lady Saturn and, to the surprise of all, soon
gained a son who he named Sekai.
Sadly, during the Baranoia War, Queen Serenity was slain and her
daughter inherited the throne.
Finally, the Ankoshin War broke out and while Haoumaru and Nakoruru
were still ultimately responsible for the demons destruction, the
Silver Millennium and King Ranger, who lost his life in the war and
passed his powers on to his child, were instrumental in making the
Dark God's damage less severe.

And in this continuity, this is where our story begins...

A SILVER MILLENNIUM STORY:
(If you guess the theme songs title before the chorus, you get a
cookie.)
Breaking through, the shining clouds
I fly away (Fly away)
Filling up my body with a spreading panorama
I turn my face to the Earth I left behind
And feel its rage (Feel its rage)
Making volcanos blow apart before my eyes
If deep inside the melting ice I find a dinosaur
Then I'll want to try and ride on top of it.
Cha la
Head Cha la
Come what may I feel
That I can handle anything
Cha la
Head Cha la
My heart's pounding so hard
Like a screaming ball of life
Cha la
Head Cha la
My head's holding nothing now
Except for all of my dreams
Cha la
Head Cha la
With the smile of the Ultra Z
Today I'm gonna fly-yai-yai-yai-yai

The mist covered the young man in its gentle embrace as he made his
way to the castle wall. He paused for only a moment and then jumped
onto a near by tree branch and from there, he leapt over the wall.
He landed in a crouch and quickly took stock of the situation.
The fog that covered his actions also made it difficult to see any
guards but fortunately, he knew their patrols and felt secure in the
knowledge that none would be coming by for another five minutes.
Using that window to the fullest advantage, the man raced across the
meadow, constantly turning his head to make sure that he didn't run
into any unexpected company.
Then, he came to the edge of the castle itself. It was beautiful, a
masterpiece of Silver Millennium design. Even though he knew what it
looked like, the mans breath was still taken away by the sight every
time that he stood near it.
"No time to admire the view," he thought, "work to do."
He tensed his legs and, in a single leap, he was on the roof of the
castle. He ran across the shingles and smiled as he saw the open
window on the room he wished to enter.
His smile vanished as a womans voice called out, "Stop intruder!"
He spun and found himself face to blade with a glave. The small
woman that held the blade, with pale skin, short cut black hair and
wearing a purple highlighted uniform that signified her membership as
a Sailor Senshi, glared at him with purple eyes and said, "Don't move.
"
The man, thinking quickly, and moving even quicker, back flipped
several times. The Senshi was caught off guard by the sudden
maneuver and the man made a break for it, heading for his goal.
To her credit, the Sailor, who the man recognized as Saturn,
recovered quickly and chased after him, taking swings with her
Silence Glave whenever she got close. Perhaps realizing the futility
of his running, the man whirled around and blocked the Glave with his
own weapon. The weapon was a strange affair, with a double sided
blade on one end of a staff that was as long as a persons forearm and
on the other end was a large, gold colored shape that looked like a
rectangle with two indentations on each side and on top of the shape
sat a small red jewel.
The two traded blows, each of them being able to block the others
slashes without getting hurt. Suddenly, Saturn noticed that they had
been moving closer to the window that the man had been trying for and
with an, "Oh no you DON'T," she shoved him towards the ledge.
The man lashed out blindly as he began to fall and managed to grab
hold of the bow on Saturn's shirt and pulled her over with him.
As they fell, they looked down and noticed that they were falling
toward the stained glass window that was on the roof of the throne
room. "Oh CRAP!" the two said as one.
Suddenly, the man did something that would have seemed very odd to
the casual observer. He turned around and repositioned himself so he
would take the brunt of the fall and cried, "CHORIKI HENSHIN!"

	In the throne room....

Queen Serenity and King Endymion, as well as the rest of the guards,
Sailor Jupiter and a dignitary from Mercury, looked up in shock as
the stained glass window above them shattered and a streak of black
light with a gold, humanoid outline plunged to the middle of the
throne room.
The streak landed and then, moving faster then the normal human eye
could follow, rushed towards the large double doors, completely
avoiding the glass shards that rained down.
The streak then became a human male, using his body as a shield to
protect Sailor Saturn. "Mom," the man said simply, "You tried to
KILL me."
Sailor Saturn looked up and grinned as she replied, "Sekai, I knew
you could survive the fall. I never knew you'd be crazy enough to
pull me with you though."
Endymion, a look of barely suppressed amusement on his face,
interjected with, "It appears as if that's ANOTHER window you owe us.
"
From the shadows of the room, Serenity added, "This would stop
happening Sekai, if you would learn to use a device known as 'A Door'.
"
"No thanks," Sekai said as he stood and let his mother get up,
"Don't believe in them."
Sekai was a young man of eighteen years. His short hair was a light
shade of brown and he possessed the same purple eyes his mother had.
His face was broad and honest looking, his body was slender and
showed signs of intense physical training. His clothing consisted of
black pants and a black shirt, with a gold emblem on the left arm and
over his heart, which the same shape that rested on the end of the
staff. His calf high boots were gold colored, as were his gloves and
he bowed and grinned, exposing his overdeveloped canines that looked
like fangs as he said, "King Ranger Sekai, reporting as ordered.
Although I would have been here sooner if I hadn't been..." he shot a
glance at Saturn, "delayed."
Sailor Saturn huffed and shot back, "Well my child, if you had TOLD
me you had come back to the palace instead of trying to make one of
your grand entrances, this never would have happened. And aren't you
even going to say 'hello' to your mother? Honestly, sometimes I'm
amazed that I gave birth to such a rude boy."
Sekai sighed and gave Saturn a peck on the cheek as he said, "Hello
mom. How have you been? I missed you."
All traces of annoyance disappeared off the Senshi of Silence's face
as she kissed him on the forehead and replied, "I've been fine.
However, there is..."
At this point, Endymion cleared his throat loudly and said, "Sekai.
You are early and as you can see," he indicated the Mercurian
dignitary, "We are in the middle of some business."
Sekai took the hint and replied, "Right."
He and Saturn walked out of the room as the dignitary said, "Now, as
I was saying, what you propose is seemingly fair but there are...."

	Outside the palace....

The mother and son walked back out into the gardens and as soon as
the two of them sat on one of the benches looking over the field of
Moon Orchids, Sekai asked, "Mom, why did you attack me? You should
have seen my weapon, it's not THAT foggy."
Saturn smirked as she replied, "Why didn't you say something like,
'Hi mom, it's me'?"
"Well... I guess my time on Jupiter got me a bit more into their
warrior ways, you know. I wanted to see if you'd gotten any better
since the last time I saw you."
	Saturn replied, "As did I."
"You STILL suck at close up combat tho..."
Saturn beaned Sekai with the flat end of the Silence Glave as she
growled, "Be respectful to your mother!"
"Orooooooo," Sekai groaned as he fell off the bench.
When the young man recovered, Saturn asked, "And how DID your
training go?"
"Pretty good. I've finally mastered the King Victory Blast and the
King Dash, the later one is what I used to make sure we didn't get
cut to ribbons back there, but I still can't call on King Pyramita.
Plus for some reason, I can't stay in my full power form for more
then six minutes."
	"What is King Pyramita?"
	"You know, dad's mecha."
"I never saw it and I think he only mentioned it to me once before
he... died."
Sekai's face fell. His father, a man who he only knew through
pictures, foggy memories and stories his mother had told him. He had
been only two when the Ankoshin War had broken out and the original
King Ranger had given his life to protect the lives of those on Earth.
Then his face lit up again as he said, "Here. Let me try again."
Sekai raised his staff to the air and cried at the top of his lungs,
"KING PYRAMITA!!"
A golden beam shot out of the top of the staff and blasted into the
sky, forming dark storm clouds that enveloped the sky above the
palace and the grounds surrounding it. The sense that a great power
was approaching hung heavy in the air.
There was a small wind that blew through the garden and nothing more.

Sekais head fell, a large bead of sweat on the back of it, as he
groaned in a small voice, "I failed again."
Saturn stood and placed her hands on his shoulder. "Don't worry,"
she said, "I don't think it would have been a good idea to have a
giant mecha drop down on the royal palace of the Moon Kingdom, now
would it? Especially since you've been brought here for a great
honor."
"Now that you mention it mom," Seaki said as his curiosity overcame
his disappointment, "Why was I called back here anyway?"
"As you know, you are a rarity. Most Sailor Senshi are born steral
and the possibility of one of them dirrectly giving birth to their
successor is almost nill."
	"Yeah," Sekai admitted.
"Also, you know that the Queen has been having... problems."
Sekai nodded. A friend having seven miscarriages and two stillborns
was not something one forgot easily.
"And you also know that the Queen is pregnant again..."
	"WHAT?!"
"You didn't notice? She IS in the ninth month."
"Well, she WAS in the shadows, AND I was a little busy making sure
someone very close to me didn't end up resembling a piece of abstract
art. Besides, what does this all have to do with me?"
Saturn frowned slightly and added, "I will let Serenity explain
herself what this has to do with you when we go back inside."
The doors to the palace opened and Sailor Jupiter walked out as she
said, "The King and Queen will see you now," then she cast a glare at
Sekai, "and then you and I are going to have a LONG talk on proper
etiqute for presenting yourself before royalty... AGAIN."

	Back inside the palace....

It was a pretty light and cheerful room when you got right down to
it. The throne room was built out of solid ivory and the colorful
drapes bearing the royal insignia of the Moon Kingdom added to the
warm and friendly charm. The thrones which Serenity and Endymion sat
upon were built out of a mineral that was a gold and diamond hybrid
and was found only on the moon.
Sekai kneeled before the stairs that lead to the thrones and said,
"My apologies for my rude entrance earlier. Your Majesties, I am
here to do your bidding."
Endymion stood as he said, "You may rise."
As Sekai did so, the King continued, "As you can see, my wife is
once again with child. However, unlike the other times, we are
certain that nothing will go wrong. So, we ask of you, Sekai, son of
Sailor Saturn and King Ranger, will you bear witness to the event of
my wife giving birth and be our child's Guardian?"
"WHAT?!" Sekai exclaimed as he fell on his bottom, in shock.
Being appointed a childs Guardian was the Moon Kingdom equivalent of
becoming the childs Godfather but more so. How Sekai had earned such
an honor was beyond him and he was quick to say it as he exclaimed,
"Why me?"
Serenity spoke as she rested her liquid blue eyes on him, "My friend,
as I am certain your mother has told you, you are a rarity. In the
history of the Moon Kingdom, only one other Senshi besides your own
mother has been able to give birth. We feel that, since my child
will also be a rarity, that having a kindred spirit like yourself
will be beneficial to her."
"'Her'?" Sekai asked, "You're certain it's a girl?"
Serenity just smiled in a certain way.
	"You're right. Dumb question."
	"Do you accept?"
Sekai thought about it for a while. He still wasn't in complete
control of his powers so how could he try and protect a little kid?
However, large royal families were smiled upon and the soon to be
born princess would one day wonder why she was the only daughter of a
King and Queen who did not have siblings and Sekai, who's mother had
the same type of problem, would be able to explain that to her when
the day came. Besides, Sekai liked kids.
"Your Majesty," he said, not knowing the trouble that would soon
begin, "it would be an honor."

              And somewhere else, darkness gathered.

To Be Continued....
