3) A fic where Ranma actually makes a LOGICAL decision about his
fiancee's. (Stand up and take a bow, Zen-san, you're the only one I've
seen yet to do something like this.)
As those of us with a background in the mathematical sciences know, even
the most flawless logic will not produce accurate conclusions if the
initial assumptions are erroneous. :-PPP
People keep on mentioning that whomever marries Ranma will have to deal
with his chaotic life. I'd like to put forward the idea that once Ranma
gets hitched his life WON'T be chaotic, since all the fiancees Genma's got
for Ranma would have NO claim on him. (Debateable, I know)
Actually, this seems to be the standard assumption in continuations. Look
at Lawson's TIL, for example. Personally I rather favor the idea that his
life will continue to be chaotic no matter what happens, though it may be
so in very different ways after marriage.
BTW, since you mentioned it, there's a misconception that people seem to
have about Genma arranging umpteen different fiancees for Ranma -- usually
in exchange for food. In actuality, Genma sold his son for a meal ONCE,
and ONLY once, namely to Ukyo's Dad.
