Pride Part 2

"What am I doing here. Akane must have booted me out when I
insulted her cooking. Yeah that�s it" thought Ranma-chan.
"Uncute Tomboy"

This of course failed to explain why Ryouga was next to her.
Or exactly how close they had come. Akane's cooking had
definitely gone downhill. Her curry was usually edible. Hmm,
Best to take Ryouga back. Might as well. It would at least
get him back in Akane's good books. Using the cold water
from the taps he turned Ryouga who was still catatonic into
P-chan, picked him up and headed home. He didn't like this.
Ranma was quite surprised by when P-chan woke up. Instead of
trying to get loose he snuggled up to her. Ranma-chan didn't
quite understand why.

"Bweeee" sighed P-chan contentedly.

He got a kettle of hot water and poured it over himself 
being careful not to put P-chan in the flow. Walking
through to the main room he saw Akane.

"Hi Akane. Here's P-chan for you"

"BWEEE!" protested P-chan to no avail. He was (I can't say
unceremoniously  because Ranma was being extremely careful]
with him) handed over to Akane.

"Thanks Ranma. I'm so glad to see you two getting on better."

P-chan jumped out of Akane's arms and nuzzled up to Ranma,
bweeing pleadingly. Then Ranma knew what was going to
happen. he'd refused to eat breakfast saying his stomach
was still unsettled. P-chan was totally uninterested in
Akane. This was going to hurt! What excuse would she use?
It took him so much by surprise he didn't consider
what it meant.

"NOT THAT MUCH THOUGH!" Akane yelled hitting Ranma through
the roof P-chan got separated from Ranma in mid-flight.

Ranma looked down and saw Nabiki entering Tofu's. 
Unfortunately by this time he couldn't alter his descent
but at least he'd still be male when he landed down. As
soon as Ranma started thinking that a storm appears from
nowhere and Ranma feels his body changing. Today was not
going to be a good day.

Nabiki decides this is the perfect time to blackmail Ranma,
"Ranma, I have a photo I'm sure you don't want Akane to get
her hands on."

"Ya not foolin me. Shampoo ain't been here. Kodachi's in an
institution and Uc-chan has been opening a restaurant across
town."

By town Ranma meant Tokyo which was quite an understatement.
Nabiki stated, "Ranma. You were with Ryouga."

Ranma denied it vehemently. "ME with Ryouga, never happen.
No way. He might like me, but nothing would happen."

"Akane's cooking's improved I see." stated Ranma while chewing.

Nabiki shook her head sadly and left. Ranma wondered what
that was all about. Oh well, late for school again. Violent
tomboy he thought. School was quiet Akane wasn't even
attempting to force-feed him her cooking. He wondered why.

For lunch he went to Uc-chans and she promptly started to rib
him about his Ryouga incidents. He'd never live them down.

"You know, you and Ryouga'd make a cute couple."

"Look I'm a GUY!"

"But you chased after him once."

"I'm a GUY! Okay and I was under a spell."

"Men sometimes like other men you know."

"Look I am not interested in Ryouga."

Ukyou glares Ranma to get out. Ranma decides to leave
Shortly afterwards...

KEERRRAANG goes the door and Ranma hears Ukyou yell
"AND DON'T EVER COME BACK, YOU PERVERTED JERK."

Funny Ukyou doesn't normally say that. I have to risk
Akane's cooking then. Must have caught on to the fact
I come here mainly to annoy Akane. 

Akane had cut the last class that was unlike her. After
school he headed home.He didn't understand why Akane and
Ukyou were waiting. And Akane actually did have a huge 
mallet out. They attacked him Ranma might be able to win
but they were acting as team.

"What have I done?"

"As if you don't know PERVERT" spat Ukyou.

"DIE, RANMA DIE."

Ranma prayed for salvation. Anyone please save me. The
prayer was heard but from then on he wished it wasn't. The
delivering angel must have come from hell.

Nabiki speaks three words a chilling mix of ice and venom. 
"That is enough."

Akane stops more in shock than anything. Ukyou stops because
she is astounded by the bravery Nabiki has shown. Fortunately
Kasumi enters before Akane and Ukyou manage to orient
themselves to the new threat.

"Now Kasumi is taking Ranma to the hospital and if she
catches either of you following her - understand."

Ukyou and Akane nod in defeat.

"The only reason I'm here is  I need to tell you things you
don't know. I'd much prefer to be looking after Ranma."
