I think this one is better than the first two, but that is my opinion. Let
me know what ya think =)

A Ranma 1/2 fanfiction
Someone said my having authors notes before and after was a bit
distracting, so now they'll be at the bottom only, besides bits
in the story itself. From now on, all that will be up here is
the usual disclaimer and any warnings. Ranma 1/2 is the
property of the wonderful Rumiko Takahashi. All rights

Part three:
Fight for your life, boy
Everyone looked at Ranma, some with expectant looks, some of
them just pitying him.
"Uh-uh!" Ranma said. "No way! I am *not* her fiancee!"
Sakura's eyes watered. "Is it that I no kawaii?" she asked,
sniffling. She pulled of the childish-but-sexy act like no
other girl Ranma had ever seen.
"Sure, you're plenty cute," Ranma said. Soun glared at him.
"Hey, there's no use in denying it. Can you lie to a face like
that?"
"Actually, no. No one can," Cologne said. "She was raised
to be so innocent and good that it's...catching." Everyone
blinked. }Note: This is kind of like something that was brewing
in my mind for another story not related to Ranma. I couldn't
think of a good plot for it unfortunately, so I decided to
change it and use it here.{
"There seems to be a lot you're not telling us, Cologne,"
said Genma.
"And there *is* a lot *you're* not telling us, Genma,"
retorted Cologne. "Like the fact that you knew of this prophecy
before you met Sakura the first time."
Everyone turned to Genma, who was already vaulting for the
koi pond. "Why you...!" Ranma yelled.
Cologne motioned for silence and continued. "He knew of this
prophecy, and that is why he said that you would be her fiancee,
Ranma. He not only wanted to be a part in this prophecy, but he
knew that not everyone would be able to deal with the monster.
That is the reason he trained you so strictly in martial arts.
He has been planning this since he sought out training under
Happy."
The panda looked at her angrily. He scribbled something out
on a sign quickly and held it up. "Hey! You tricked me! I
thought you were going to say something bad!"
"She still may yet," Ranma mumbled. "He seems to have done
quite a lot that he knows he'll get in trouble for."
Genma gave Ranma an 'oh-gee-thanks' look. Everyone else
snickered.
Akane sat listening to everything, thinking. Her anger flared
briefly when Ranma said the girl was cute, but she quickly
mellowed out. She herself had to admit the girl was cute.
Genma's behaviour was disgusting. Akane had half a mind to
get up and hit him several times, but she was raised better than
that. Besides, Ranma beat her to the punch most of the time.
She suppressed a giggle as Mr. Panda held up the sign
complaining that he'd changed and he wasn't even in trouble.
Sakura sat watching the whole conversation. Even thought the
whole thing was about her, she didn't really feel the need to
add anything.
She could feel the love between Akane and Ranma.
She was happy for them. Even though she privately had a mild
crush on Ranma, she was of the opinion that everyone should
follow their heart. She was too happy, as a general rule, to
be sad.
Ryouga wondered around remote parts of China and Japan. He was
tired and lost. Finally, in the distance, he saw the Tendou
doujou! But, he absently turned and started to walk the wrong
way...
Nabiki yawned. The conversation, while interesting and somewhat
informative, was boring her. She watched carefully, but didn't
see a single way to make money off of the young girl.
She supposed she was losing her touch. :I must be getting
old,: she thought.
Genma sat sulking. It wasn't fair! He hadn't really done (much
of) anything wrong! As long as Ranma doesn't find out about...
No, its best to not even think of it.
Cologne looked at Genma. She could tell by the look on his face
exactly what he was thinking of. "There *is* more that you
aren't telling us, Genma." Genma, even as a panda, paled. "The
reason he is so concerned about Sakura's welfare...Is that he is
her father."
Authors Notes:
I was listening to a very up-beat Ranma tune when I wrote this,
and I think that helped make it better than the first two =)
Thank you, everyone, for sending in your opinions and
encouragement. I think I may be slipping back into writers
block, and for me it feels more like dying than anything. =(
More like I'm losing an arm than the ability to write a story.
Well, wish me luck on fighting my 'disease.' (writers block)
