Wow, that was a good story. Really jam packed with emotions. It was a
very goodread. Even though Junko died, it would be nice that she was
alive by the end ofthe story. I kinda liked her. No, not because she's
a lesibian...but then again, any girl likin' another girl seems to peak
my interest ;) Anyhoo, I reallyenjoyed readin' that story. I kinda feel
sad that Junko had to die in order forRanma and Akane to get a bit
closer together, but then again, that does seemvery reasonable
considerin' how stubborn Akane is and how much of jerk Ranma is ;)
Funny, that's almost the exact opposite of how I felt. I agree, I left
the story with the feeling that Junko's death was designed to bring Ranma
and Akane closer together... and that's exactly why it annoyed me. I
thought the first part was very good, with Ranma realizing his mistake
and trying to cope; I liked the second part, up to the point where the
police arrived. But I thought that making Junko death a complete accident
cheapened it some, especially since we don't see Ranma's reaction to
being told the news; the ending, where it felt like Junko was set up to
die just to give Ranma and Akane that moment of closeness... that really
annoyed me. Especially the way there were no apparent lasting
consequences -- Ranma tosses the rose into the river, and seems to wash
his hands of the whole business. I'd at least like to see him think for a
moment about what to do if this happens again.
