That being said, now that I think of it the general setup (as
opposed to the details) below could in fact be mutually compatable with
Barnes' basic idea.  And no, I have no plans to continue it.

Actually....this is a damn fine piece of work.  It's a little hard to
reconcile with the original manga (but then, so is CWCW) but it remains a
very entertaining read.

Agreed.

It's actually a shame you're not continuing it.  Its one of the more
entertaining ideas I've seen for Ranma.

Not to mention one of the more original. And I think it would be cool to see
(via flashbacks) the manga story through the different eyes of Ukyou and
Shampoo.

Besides, Ukyou and Shamps make such a CUTE couple.

And just think of all those flames. ^_^
