Okay, I'm back with my (at least mildly) comedic style. I am really hoping
this one gets some positive feedback, because I put a lot into this. I
handwrote some of it (which I *hate* doing,) and I had to re-write it when
my computer had a hissy fit (much to the dismay of everyone in a 100
kilometer radius. I yell a lot whem I'm angry =) ) BTW, can someone tell
me how to get on the ffml mailing list?

A Ranma 1/2 fanfiction =)
I have had so much trouble getting inspired the past two days
that with this one I just sat down and wrote. I don't know how
this is gunna turn out, but hey, who ever does. Ranma 1/2 is
the property of the wonderful Rumiko Takahashi. All rights
reserved.
*****Ranma no Iinazuke*****
Part One:
Kawaii Sakura
The sky was a beautiful. soft blue that morning. But if things
like that actually happened, there would be a dense, black cloud
over the Tendou's.
Ranma had a new fiancee.
She looked to be younger by a year or two. She had hair the
colour of cherry-blossoms that hung to her waist in loose,
rolling waves. She wore a short periwinkle dress with a soft
lilac flower pattern on it. She looked like a pastel attack,
but in a good way.
Kasumi let the girl in. Nabiki stood by watching, Soun
behind her. She had an eyebrow raised in interest.
The girl smiled. "Papa Genma," she said. "Where Papa Genma?"
"Uh-oh," said Genma, who promptly changed into Mr. Just a
Normal Panda.
"Where fiancee Ranma?" the girl asked.
Everyone face faults. "Not again! Pop!" Ranma splashed his
father with hot water. "What have you gone and done *this*
time?!" :Good thing Akane isn't home,: he thought.
Genma cursed, knowing he couldn't get out of this one. So he
began his story...
Ranma was two and a half years old at this time. Genma was on a
training mission and Ranma was home with his mother, Nodoka.
Genma came across a woman along the side of the road. She
was laying rather still, and Genma wondered if perhaps she was
dead until she took a ragged breath. There was a young girl
standing beside her, perhaps one year old, with light pink hair
sticking up all over her head. She was wearing a short. light
blue dress with a lilac coloured flower pattern. She was
crying.
Being a martial artist, sworn to protect and aid those less
fortunate than himself, went over to see what was going on.
The woman was gasping and choking. She asked him to take her
daughter, Sakura, and make sure she has a good marriage. Genma
promised to marry her to his son to set her mind at ease.
A Chinese couple were walking by and heard what was going on.
They wanted children, but couldn't have any. So they offered to
take care of the girl...
*KHUNK*
Ranma hit Genma over the head with a frying pan. "I am *not*
a piece of meat you pass out to any old girl!"
Sakura looked up at him. "I is no any old girl," she said.
"Oh yeah? What makes *you* so special?" Ranma asked.
"I is different!" Sakura insisted.
"Sure. You and every other girl on the planet," Ranma said
sarcastically, rolling his eyes.
Sakura got angry. "We take argument outside, yes?" Without
waiting for an answer, Sakura turned and walked into the back
yard.
Ranma shrugged and followed, everyone else following out of
morbid curiosity.
Sakura turned and waited for them. Then she yelled out,
"Sakura SAKU!" (Sakura = cherry-blossom, saku = bloom) A fierce
wind picked up and Sakura's hair turned into pink cherry-blossom
petals and swirled around her, hiding her from view.
When the wind died down, Sakura was still standing there.
But now her hair was blue, her dress was lilac, and the flower
pattern on her dress was pink. She flashed the victory sign and
said, "Kawaru wa yo!" (I will change.)
Everyone was shocked.
Authors Notes:
I made this first part short for shock value on behalf of the
characters, and suspense. Gotta keep reading! They'll be more.
Gomen! (sorry) =)
