Here's a short little bit I wrote.  Its not long because there wasn't really room for it to be long, unless you wanted to see Ryouga tearing out his hair in fustration for twenty paragraphs =)

A Ranma 1/2 fanfiction

Just a little tidbit of a story.  This one's actually kinda
cute, in my opinion.  Whoop-dee-doo.  Mild happy-joy swearing.

"Where am I *now*?!" a very fustraited Ryouga mumbled to a tree.
He yelped when the tree talked back.
"You wander around a lot, I see.  So it's no wonder you don't
know where you are.  But I've been standing here eight hundred
years, and I'm still not quite so sure!"
"What the...?"  He moved closer to the tree.  "You...didn't
just say something, did you?"
"Sure did.  I'd tell you my name, but if I have one I'm not
aware of it.  Who are you?"
"When I'm awake I'm Hibiki Ryouga, but I'm quite sure I'm not
awake!"  Ryouga backed up a ways, feeling as though the universe
had betrayed him somehow by giving a tree the privilage to
speak.
"This is an enchanted forest, boy.  It's no wonder you don't
know where you are.  This forest is filled with magical pools.
There are pools that do this or that, that or this.  There is a
big pond of silver water in the center of all the pools.  It
will answer three of your questions."
"Can you take me there?  I'm...afraid my sense of direction
isn't quite what it should be."  Ryouga blushed.
:Lost much?: the tree thought.  Aloud it said, "Dude, I'm a
tree."
   "Oh, yeah."

The tree, actually the leader of the trees in that forest,
organized a transprotation method.  Trees passed him along using
their branches so he couldn't accidently wander off and get lost
again.
It was during this time that Ryouga realized you have to be
pretty damn lost to ask a tree for directions.  Even a talking
tree.

Ryouga finally made it to the silver pond.  It was quite a
journey considering where the ponds started, the trees ended.
He couldn't seem to figure out how to walk in a strait line.
The silver pool asked him what his three questions were.
He asked, "Is there a pool here to cure my Jusenkyo curse?"
   "No."
"Is there a way I could ever defeat Ranma?"
   "No,"
Rats.  "Is there ever a way I could make Akane love me?"
   "Yes."
   "How?  How?  HOW?!"
"You've already asked your three questions."
   "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
