The file manage at Geocities is down.  Since I keep my upcoming chapters 
on the disk space I have there (the site itself is nowhere near opening 
yet), I find myself unable to C&P chapters 9&10.

So to the half-dozen of you that I think are reading this, thanks for 
your patience.
