There may or may not be spoilers here.   I'm to bedraggled to check.   Be 
careful.....


1. Now, the idea for the steampunk(aka victorian-era version) of BGC has 
already been discussed at length.   But what about EVA?
	I personally cannot picture how the world would react to the 
second impact and the Angels in that era. (the religious overtones, I 
think, would be greater than in the actual series).    
	As to the question of tie-ins to fimiliar figures, well, we're 
dealing with biological golems of incredible power during the 19th 
century.....I belive there was a certain (fictional) Genevan doctor who had 
investigations in that area......(Victor and the monster did end their 
struggle in the high arctic anyway.....good point for the second angel to 
show?)


2. I don't recall reading anyone disseminating this idea on the list 
earlier.....and it does seem such an obvious thing I think it would have 
been posted already....but :   Eva/X-Files?   (before the second impact)
