Unfortunately, talking about these things in the abstract doesn't seem
all that helpful. Different writers are going to have different
interpretations of the characters and different ideas about what
constitutes believable motivations for them. If someone looks at
something I've written and explains why he thinks the characters
wouldn't have done what I had them do, that helps me as a writer, even
if I don't end up agreeing. Just saying in effect "OOC is bad" really
doesn't help at all; if someone just says that as a generality, I have
no idea where any particular thing stands in his eyes.

BTW, as long as we're giving out writing advice, proper word wrapping,
paragraphing, and spell-checking really help improve the readability of
what you write.
