First the surprise. The latest sourcebook for the BGC roleplaying game is
out, and *I* have a copy. In fact, it just arrived at my door less than 10
minutes ago *as I type this) via UPS. And it's _INCREDIBLE_! Part of the
reason I'd slowed down on the 2nd and 3rd parts of my BGC fic was that I
was trying to get more realistic details into the story, and now I have an
entire freakin' BOOK full of official, approved of by Artmic, details. More
new boomers, more new hard suits, more new _everything_!
Envy, envy, drool, drool.
What a horrible time for my wife and I to be saving to buy a house...
<grin>
As a result, I'm going to go back and re-write certain portions of 'Time
and Again' and 'On Dangerous Ground' to my personal satisfaction, using
material from the new _Bubblegum Crisis EX_ sourcebook.
I must say I'm looking forward to that...
And of course, hotels need maintinance engineers, and who can do that
better than a certain aussie engie-type? Want to run _now_, while you have
a head-start, Barry? ^_-
Is that a power key staff I see attached to that mophead, Barry? <grin>
As for the last subject, (my sincere apologies here, Tybalt & WW, but I've
been literally overwhelmed by letters on this), I have mostly recovered
from my recent stroke.
And there was much rejoicing. Count yourself among the very lucky, Ed...
back. I appreciate all the letters and phone calls you gave me, and the
support you lent me. It was sorely needed and greatly appreciated.
After all the joy and enjoyment you've given your readers, it was the
least we could do for you.
Just don't ask for me to type the entire book in, please. ^_^
<frantic backspacing> Huh, what? Wouldn't think of it, nope, not at all.
<grin>
