Well, I have almost similair feelings...I was interested in
where this story might have been going. I must admit however (as I have
in previous reviews) that it was not entirely my cup of tea. I decided I
REALLY didn't like it around ep 13. I continued to read hoever as I had
gone this far and I was still *interested* in seeing where it was going.
I had no problem with Usagi biting it a second time around as it still
held a certain truness to the plot. The later plot execution was...wel,
just that.
-It sort of unravelled.
I will also say that I will and have read things I dislike content-wise
and this was by no means "The Painted Bird" (thank BoB) -However, I still
didn't like it.

More abstractly and on a less personal level as a
first effort the series (but in my opinion not the ideas) showed promise.
A little more cohesion might make a better read.

Usagi is Dead started as an interesting idea, The someone
murdered Usagi Tsukino and then we found out the Senchi did
it. Then the fresh new ideas and free flowing concepts
stopped and gradually the author ran out of plot and the
story went from interesting and intriguing to boring.

saw with this most of it from about part 10 on had no real
plot advancement and from about fifteen on had no plot at
all. IMHO anyway.

As I said.... but think that the true breakup happenedbetween 10 and
15...13.
I liked the early chapters

ditto... they kept my interest.
and I hope to see new stories by
this author. I think s(he) has real potential, but I just
couldn't get into this one after Usagi went dead the second
time.
