That's an interesting way of looking about it.  I never really would have
considered it, and I don't think I ever would have.  On the other hand, I
think I'm too far set in my own mode of thought to really take those
things into account anymore... ^_^;;
But a good point nonetheless.  However, I'm sure there's bound to be an
argument against it somewhere.  Pehaps just for the sake of being the
devil's advocate? ^_^

Here's an argument against it.  Which I've touched on in Tendou 2/3, though
not directly.

Ranma and Akane are, because of circumstances (read: plot devices) constantly
in situations where they have to work with each other, show concern and
respect for each other, etc.  It means they have feelings for each other; it
may mean they're friends.  But it doesn't necessarily mean they're in love.
Most characters who are not complete scum would work with others and respect
their feelings and abilities (except when the story needs a cheap laugh).
