I would have sent this to Nadochi's email box - except the only address
attached to the message was the FFML. :?

1. First, DDFA doesn't have to go to that level. It shows immaturity, as
Chris had shown, if he does.

I'm sorry, but I disagree. Death threats don't come in the category of
"shrug and ignore". Ever. It is like bomb threats: Make *even a joking
one* in any airport and you will be *LUCKY* if you only miss your flight
and get to spend some time in court convincing the nice judge why you
shouldn't spend anything up to the next twenty years in jail. Really.

There are some things you don't "shrug and forget about".

P.S. Those letters were obviously private ones...we shouldn't have seen
them, and that kind of trust, even if it was done in generel distaste or
hatred, wasn't for the whole FFML to see. I would have asked members
privately as well. (There are kids here, if I'm not mistaken...and seeing
e-mails threatening a person's life would just be too unappetizing)

No, again. Netiquette is *being polite*. That's all. When someone
communicates a death threat - politeness to them is not an issue. It is
well accepted that it is not a violation of netiquette to publically post
the email of someone who has communicated a threat like this.

I understand your concern about kids, but really...considering the evening
network TV news....
