ARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!
(Looks a lot like how my letter on part 18 started)
NNNOOOOOOO!!!!
(yep, a lot like it)
KRISTA, HOW COULD YOU DO THIS!!!!!?????
(definitley like my last letter)
This is, arguably, the best chapter yet of HoI. So much looked like one
thing on the surface (Nabiki is all cool and composed, Cologne is shrugging
off the shot and still strong) yet so totally different underneath. (Nabs
is a wreck and Cologne came within a hairsbreadth of dying) An amazing
thing about this is how you've got so much ... on one hand action, on the
other hand not. If somebody asked me if chap. 19 of HoI had action, I'd say
"HECK YEAH!!" I mean, Nabs tries to finish Cologne off, Cologne almost
dies, Kuno joins the real world, Akane relocates Su and gets ready to throw
down and Ranma faces off with the Shadowcat. But at the same time, if
somebody REALLY asked me to describe what went down in chap. 19, I'd have
to immediatley declare, 'A lot of character development.' Which normally
means no action. Yet you manage to blend and marry the two. Very
interesting. I like it.
Well, Kuno finally has a brain, I wonder what this will do for him. I am a
firm believer in Kuno's potential and would like to see him DO something...
what I don't exactly know, but hey.
Anywho, all in all, another excellent, riveting chapter with an incredible
end. I hope twenty comes out soon. And...
To Krista and anyone else who may read this post... what scene in HoI would
you like to see? I'm half-done with a scene from Chapter 12, when Shampoo
breaks down and is crying in Mousse's arms with Ranma holding his head on
his knees.... anything in particular you guys would like to see? (I really
have to thank Krista. She has such a beautifully vivid and descriptive
style. It makes drawing stuff based on HoI a snap.)

p.s. I liked the references to how Nabs gun is illegal and blah, blah, a
fact about Japanese firearm control that really threw a damper on my Hidden
Talents 3.
