Having read this, I'm reminded of what a friend of mine said about
Frank Herbert's Dune.
Not all that much happens. Not all that much is said. It's just...
words. A lot of them.
But you know what? I really _like_ Dune.
        And I _really_ like HoI.
What I'm referring to especially is everything that went on in
Nabiki's head while she faced off with Cologne. The mental entanglements
kind of trap the reader, right along with Nabiki herself.
You can just _taste_ the fear. The confusion. The tension.
        It's delicious.
For the more plotful sections--excellent, as always. The
interactions between Akane and Susano-o are delightful. Cologne's
recovery, though disappointing (in that I wanted to see her DIEDIEDIE),
was very interesting--in the best sense of the word.. Ranma's battle was
appropriately chilling. And the Nabiki-Kunou interlude was a good touch.
You're a genius, Krista. Now, get that last chapter out! ^_^ I
can't wait.
And 20 had better be the last chapter. Didn't you once say that
this story was going to end at 12 chapters? :)

Of course it'll be the last chapter. Epilogues don't count, right
Krista?
