Usagi is Dead started as an interesting idea, The someone

really hate story's that substitute surrealism for plot.
this is NOT a flame, it is my response to the entire series
and is at least an attempt to criticize the major problem I
saw with this most of it from about part 10 on had no real
plot advancement and from about fifteen on had no plot at
all. IMHO anyway.
I liked the early chapters and I hope to see new stories by
this author. I think s(he) has real potential, but I just
couldn't get into this one after Usagi went dead the second
time.

Thankyou for saying this. It is what I felt about the story as I was
writing it... That I was having trouble showing how the plot was
advancing, and was falling into greater and greater set piece traps. Of
course, ultimately, every little piece does form a kind of plot
advancement. I tried to achieve this. However, certain chapters, most
specifically 16 and 17, remain totally unsatisfactory to my way of thinking.

It is extremely rare that I should so much as write a second draft to any
of my fics, so what you see is what you get, I often simply cast them to
the wind regardless of whether I'm satisfied with them or not.
