Part Two: Consolidation.

(Author's note: All right, for the sake of the story, and because I
don't want to have a huge argument about Ranma/Akane pairings and story
canonization, let's just say that the storyline here deviated from
Takahashi-sama's story significantly. Ranma and Akane actually admitted
their fondness for each other, and have set a date for the wedding. The
other fiancees are not fazed by this, although Ryoga is having a
difficult time dealing with life in general. As usual. Part two takes
place about a year after part one, and the actual marriage date is
roughly a month off. By the way, and trust me on this, it makes the plot
later on a whole lot smoother. I think.)

	Ranma, having set the wedding date, decides to tell the Dragonfly king
the news he was expecting. When the Dragonfly king arrives, however, he
brings dire news. Now that the Dragons, most powerful of the Major
kings, are sleeping, their land is being taken over by hostile races,
bent on destroying the Dragons utterly. Ranma, having learned that
Dragons are NOT essentially evil, feels a terrible guilt at having left
them to their enemies. Resolving to fix the problem, he sets off to the
Land of Beasts once again, this time with Akane at his side, to save the
race he has nearly doomed.
	Once he arrives, however, he will find that his problems consist of far
more than simply waking the sleeping Beasts...
