bothers me...losing the main star of the show...but I guess that is just me.
Further, it really will be quite a challenge to come up with both an
entertaining side, and serious side to the next few appearances of his, or
her other fiancees.  Poor Ranma...he loses...everywhere, every side he
takes, every option he has, he's in a no-win situation.
