well, I saw this thread as banned, so I'm going to C&C Youma blues.. I
just wanted to make the point, here, that shampoo is not usually portrayed
as violet.. violent, sure! violet, never..

heheheheheheh..

Youma Blues: A study in self-infliction.

it's amazing.. in the blink of an eye, you can finally see the light..
						(aerosmith, I think.. )

the insertion of an author (or an avatar thereof) into a series is a common
occurence, usually as the form of an Otaku, the knowledgeable ta'avern who
spins the story around them, drawing the plot and characters into their own
dance, be it a dance of swords, or a dance of love. But here, here is
something different. This author, while having knowledge ofthe universe he
has been dropped into, gets pulled into a facet of the universe where his
knowledge will serve no better purpose than to keep his hide firmly
attached to his soul..

Again, in the normal self-insertion fic, the author is _firmly_ aligned
with 'good'. be it as the fifth Knight Saber, Ranma's true fiancee, or a
near demigod of unimaginable skills and power, the author solves all the
universes problems. In Youma Blues, the author has so far avoided this
cliche'd talent trap, preferring to stay with the compelling chronicle of a
front-line Youma's struggle to stay alive..

Battle on, Gamlain!
