An open-air gazebo, added to the complex seven years before, had
five shivering figures under it's roof. Twelve blazing torches
surrounded them within the walls. Four of them wore dark hooded robes,
three with torches in their hands. The fourth, towering above the
rest, with a silver box under an arm, stood behind the fifth and
central figure. Draped in a thick, white woolen robe with ermine
lining, she knelt before a huge statue by a far wall.
"Cee-ee-ko!", the figure barked in time with the sound of rubber
smacking against flesh.
"Cee-ee-ko!" A second slap, and the torch bearers ran behind the
statue, holding their braziers over it's head.
"CEE-EE-KO!" A third, louder slap. They lowered the flames over
it's painted yellow curls, flower jewelry above the ears,
diamond-encrusted crown on it's head.
"CEE-EE-KOWWWWWW!"
