Ranma was sitting by the window today. He wasn't really interested on the
view outside, its just that their was a special student up front, handing
out some sort of test for the whole class to work on. Their regular math
class had been postponed today for a very special purpose. Ranma, though
freed from the burden of number crunching, wasn't too elated about the
activity they all had to do.
"Alright, boys and girls," Nabiki stood in front of the students, her hand
motioning towards her slaves, who were also her classmates, to hurry up and
pass all the questionnaires around. Ranma muttered something when he
received his set. "Ok, does everyone have a booklet?" Nobody answered,
nevertheless Nabiki wasn't about to back down now. It was for a group
report, and all the students of Furinkan High were being sampled.
"Nabiki, all the test questionnaires have been distributed." cried a girl
at the back. Nabiki clasped her hands, grabbing everyone's immediate
attention. Ranma, though wasn't amused.
"Excellent. As you may know, I've gotten permission from our beloved
principal to sample all the students of this high school for this particular
testing." A bit of exclaims, a morsel of murmurs, and one loud "ho hum"
from a certain boy sitting near the windows came as the reply. "Ahem. Do
you have a problem with this test, Ranma?" One of her eyebrow shot up a few
times.
"Let's get this over with, Ok." Ranma took a pencil off his right ear and
broke the seal of the booklet.
"Alright you may begin. Now remember. Answer these questions truthfully.
These will not only help the thesis the senior class is working on, but will
probably help our dear Guidance Department as well." Nabiki sat on the
teacher's table, her arms crossed over her chest, her stare imitating that
of an eagle eyed predator that is just about to pluck its prey of the
unnerving waters of innocence. "Ah, hah! What are you doing?! Gonsunkugi!
Cut that out! That piece of paper is not possessed!"
"Yeah, right?" Ranma read the instructions, since they were written in
bold, glaring letters on the first page. "Shade the "True" column if the
following statements are true to you, or is most probable for you. Shade
"False" if the statement is not true, and is almost never applicable to
you." Ranma snickered, "Sounds easy."
"Thank you Ranma, for reading those instructions out loud for all of us .
But please keep quiet during the test, Ok." Nabiki had walked up to Ranma's
chair, glancing at his progress. "I really appreciate if you do this, Ok."
Her hand patted his shoulder, a rather convincing way of calming Ranma's
suspicions.
"Ok, Nabiki. I guess it won't hurt if I just tell the truth." Ranma turned
the page as Nabiki walked off towards another student who was raising his
hand.

...can't take it anymore...I...pfft...boy, I'm pooped.

Ranma stared like forever at the question. Not really knowing his emotions
right now. Everyone else in the room had reached question no. 50, the last
in the booklet. All eyes were on Ranma, rather expecting, or not expecting
hell to freeze over. Nabiki still sat up in front, rather confident at her
self. Or she probably forgot what was the last question in her test. Akane
was motionless herself, the calm before the storm was what she expected.
"Finished!" Ranma exclaimed as he closed the booklet, and threw his pencil
out the window. "Here you go, Nabiki." The booklet flew across the room,
and as if by slow-motion, or it was just everyone's stare keeping it from
flowing as swiftly as physics predicted it could, the questionnaire floated
rather slowly and surprisingly towards the head proctor. Nabiki caught it
on her lap. "I'm bushed. Akane, wanna go have lunch?"
Everyone was surprised, to say the least, as Ranma slowly left the room with
Akane, not even saying a word or blowing his top in front of Nabiki. What
psychotic episode was Ranma in now? Everyone asked each other. "Ok, since
Ranma already submitted, all of you must be finished by now." Everyone was
and as soon as the last paper was turned in, everyone hurried outside hoping
to catch the couple inside the cafeteria.
"They're not there, boys and girls." Nabiki was all alone in the room when
she finally finished collating the booklets and tucked them inside her small
briefcase. "You just don't know Ranma like I do." She finished her work,
locked the windows and turned off the light before leaving the room.

Please C & C . . . Come on...you have got say something...
BTW, this was inspired by the psychological exam I had this afternoon...900
question in one and a half hours+. Karamba! What a brain freezer that was.
Now, I'm pooped.
Another thing. Is it just me, or maybe I'm on the tail end of the mailing
list. But, for a couple of fics now, I've been getting C & C 's faster than
I get back the fic I sent that is being C & C. An hour margin at most.
Gee...
