The Game was funny. The assorted tallys for everyone and his kid brother
aren't.
Banned thread, people.

I wasn't aware that relevant threads were banned on the grounds of how funny
they are.

This strikes me as akin to the "funny names" threads on
alt.folklore.urban.

It's not a matter of how funny they are.  The fact that they aren't
amusing just makes them mildly more painful.

These postings are inappropriate because:
a) Anyone who *really* wants to know how many drinks fic x got can
add them up himself.
b) A majority of the list isn't very interested in "Fic x got 20 drinks"
 postings.
c) Well, it isn't very appropriate.  I mean, it's about as appropriate
or interesting as fanfic word-counts being posted to the list.
Do you *really* care how many words are in some crossover fic you haven't
read? 
d) I think that it encourages people to write bad fics containing all
of the items mentioned in the drinking games just to say that they did.

But then, I'm not admin, so this is all just guesswork.
