I recall one complaint shortly after the TV series came out,

whoever it 

was disliked the TV series because "They changed Ifurita from a

dangerous 

embodyment of elemental force into an even more dangerous Mihoshi

clone" At 

least I think that was what they said.

Ack.  As I just said to Barry in off-list email, I *like* Mihoshi in

the

OVAs -- there're hidden depths in her, even if she's not aware of

them.

But Mihoshi-clones tend to be just, well, ack, yuk, blech.  You know

what

I mean?  <grin>

	Very much so, that's why I was wondering if you consider Tenchi TV
series Mihoshi a Mihoshi-clone.  She is even MORE of a ditz than in the
OAV series and serves absolutely no useful purpose.  Even OAV Mihoshi
had her times, but TV Mihoshi is purely useless.  They shouldn't have
ADDED Kiyonne, they should have REPLACED Mihoshi.

	...besides, any Mihosh-like character is just too difficult to write
about.  I usually come up with extravagant devices to remove her from a
plot. >:|
