Ranma gasped in shock as the man who had asked him to hide him
suddenly transformed, his head changing into that of a frog, his throat
bulging with air - or something. The creature spat at its adversary, who
was still in shadow, and blue-white energy shot from its mouth. Its enemy
leaped out of the way of the blast, which incinerated a car.

The creature grabbed Ranma, who, despite all his martial arts
training, could not break the hold. Its adversary approached, coming into
full view of Ranma for the first time - she looked to be a human female,
about fifteen years old, with pigtailed red hair, dressed in a blue and
white bikini. She cracked her knuckles as she approached.

"You'd better give up, Geega." she threatened, as a ball of energy
formed between his hands.

Ranma screamed as Geega threw him towards his enemy - and then
screamed again, louder, as the energy blast she had been preparing to fire
at Geega struck his own body instead. His body suddenly went limp, and the
young woman gasped in shock at what she had done. Geega, now back in human
form, gloated.

"Ranko, it looks like you killed an Earthling." He leaped over a
wall and disappeared from Ranko's sight.
