Well, the real fun would start when Lina gets her hands on a Sa'angreal.
Or if she was dragged there in the middle of the Shabranigdo-storyline
and still had the Philosphers' Stone with her.
I shudder while thinking the amount of destruction Lina's temper and
the Philosophers' Stone could cause together. Until 'that time of the month'
hits. Then it's time to run from the Red Ajah. Fast.
Well after I got over the giddness of Lina Inverse kicking ass in the WoT
world I began to actually look at the mechanics of such a crossover (not
that I'm doing this fic mind you. I have a whole wack load of ideas ahead
of this one in the queue thank you very much.). Would Lina be held by the
rules of channeling in the WoT story line or would she be using the source
of power from her old world. It'd be nit picky here, but if Lina is under
the WoT restraints than her destructive powers would be under wraps a bit.
(Including non-access to the Dragon-Slave...Much like you did to her in
your fic Slayers 1/2).
Of course, the real problem here is that the Aes Sedai are Shaminists,
using Air, Water, Earth, Fire, and Spirit. Lina, on the other hand,
practices Black Magic, which draws her power from evil forces. The major
concern here is that this is also how the Forsaken draw their power (at
least, that's how I interpreted it). Can you say Major Complications?
Anipuma: Major Complication.
*sigh* I didn't mean that literally...
<tear out major part, using spatula>
I'd imagine the Dark One would even run away scared when faced with 11
Naga's. ^O^
BTW. I actually don't think Lina's that much more powerful than for example
Nyave (or whatever her names was..) and certainly not more powerful
than the forsaken. Lina's just much more versatile than most Aes Sedai.
(Fire's her strongest element, but she certainly can control them all...)
But still, 'Slayers of Time' would be a good title, 'cause Lina's bound
to cause havoc to the trapesty.(or whatever it was) Like if she got the Stone,
learned balefire and got a little peeved at Tar Valon. So much about the
universe... ^_^
Nahh..I disgree with you on this point alot. Lina will probably be the
best magic user on the planet at the time. Hell probably in the history of
the place. Her power is just too great and her diversity in spell's is
also great. Even limiting her to just using Saidin as a power source she
still should be able to whipe the floor with every one except maybe the
Dark one...And even then I'm not sure that would be close after watchign
raw Slayers Return...:)
I'd have to agree here. Lina's power level? Two words: Dragon Slave. I
haven't seen any indication in the books so far that Rand could do
anything similar without a ter'angreal (I think that's spelled right...).
In fact, the last thing to destroy a mountain was the Breaking. And if
Lina can do that on a regular basis...
And NO, I am NOT going to write either of these. I'm not a WoT fan...
Well I like WoT...I just don't have the time or knowledge to these
stories..:)
So, is anyone planning to do this? I don't have the time for this, since
I'm still working on my Nuku fusion, but I'd love to feed ideas (or at the
very least, pre-read) to anyone who will.
