A WARPED WEIRD WORLD
CHAPTER:3
...Waking I a face over me that seems familure, but for the moment I
can�t seem to place where I�ve seen it before. Looking down at myself I
see the body of a young woman. This in itself is normal, the unusal
thing is it�s covered in dark red and tan furr. Looking up at the woman
who is examinning me and ask her, "where the bloody �ell am I, and what
the �ell happened?"
"Your at doc. Raven�s, you also had a nasty bump on the head. We
couldn�t take you to a hospital for reasions that should be plain to
you. Now rest for awile and we�ll talk later."
Nodding I close my eyes and fall asleep. Much later I wake up to the
call of nature, and so doing, I get out of bed and slowly find my way
to the dunny. Along the way I hear the woman�s voice.
"Priss, Nene, linna�..what are we going to do with her? She�s not a
boomer the testing I did would have said as much if she were. She�s not
human ether, her looks will tell you that. She�s had a nasty bump on
her head so may have some amnesia, but I can�t be shure."
"She can stay with me till we can think of something." Piped up a
sweet bubbly voice. Smiling I tune out the rest of the conversation,
finish doing my business and go back to bed. A few minutes later the
woman I had seen earlier comes in trailed by three other women. A tall
woman with black hair and dressed in a white and black loose fitting
shirt and a pair of black slacks, a tall woman with reddish brown hair
and wearing a red and blue motercycle outfit, and a short redhead
wearing a police uniform. Seeing that I was awake she says,
"It�s good to see you awake, my name is Sylia this is Nene, Priss, and
Linna." She points in turn to each who nod. "We were wondering what we
would be doing with you, it�s obviouse that you�ll have some truble
interacting with the public as you are, but Nene here says that she
would be happy to have you stay with her till you deside that you can
handle being around a lot of people. Now if you would, tell us some
about your self."
"I can�t remember much, just bits and peaces."
Sylia nods. "I was afraid of this. Ok, go on and tell us, what you
remember."
"I my name is Mizu Ryu� I think I�m 22 but I�m not shure, I could be
younger� heh I look it. Anyway, I also remember training with this guy
named Ryouga in martail arts for a few years. I also remember variouse
sights and national monuments such as the tokyo tower."
Sylia looks at me straingely and Nene says, "didn�t the tokyo tower
get destroyed in that big quake
we had abour 10 years ago?"
Sylia nods. "I belive so Nene, but that would mean Ryu is at least
60. Anyway continue Ryu."
"I also remember staying at this place called the Tendo dojo, where I
continued my training. One night on the way home." Making an =^,^= ick
face. "I realy hate the rain and getting my furr wet. Anyway I was on
my way home from a movie when the ground seemed to fall out from under
me and the next thing I remember I was waking up here."
Sylia nods and leaves to check on some things. As soon as Sylia is
gone Nene and Linna bombard me with questions. Priss quickly brings
their questions to a screaching halt. "shut the hell up!" she looks
around and contenues. "Ryu is tiered we will all get a chance to ask
her our questions. We don�t need to wear her out before we can get our
answers. Now ryu do you rember doing annything that might help to find
you a job or something here?"
"Well�.. I think I was a singer of some sort, singing mostly at bars
and conventions, but I seemd fairly popular with the locals."
Priss passes me a guitar and asks me to play something. I nod and
start playing a song that had been stuck in my mind for the past hour.
"I keep racing down the stormy highway,
serching for the whereabouts of my interupted dream,
letting all my lies and bitter illusions blow off my back, with the
wind."

Priss smiles as I hand the guitar back. "you have potental Ryu, why
don�t you come down to hot legs, we are needing another vocalist. I�ll
introduce you to the rest of the group then." I nod, and linna asks if
I would be willing to spar with her when I got to feeling better. I
say yes and ask about them. Sylia runs this store called silky dalls,
Priss works down at hot legs, Nene is an adp police officer, Linna is a
health instructer and phitness nut.
Later that evning I arive at Nene�s apartment. It�sa small place done
in a pleasant but eye catching color sceme. As I look around Nene goes
to the fridge and gets out a german chocolate cake with coconut
sprinkles on it, she cuts out two large wedges and puts them on plates
before putting the rest back in the fridge. We chat for awhile as we
munch the cake. It turns out she likes sweets as much as I do. After we
finish I help her put the dishes in the sink.
"Um � Nene."
"Yes?"
"would it be possable to see where you work?"
"Sure, I�ll arange a pass for you tomarrow. Hmmmm, Ryu do you want to
use the shower first or shall I?"
"Hmmm, you go ahead I have some things I want to think about first."
She nods and heads to the shower. I sit there puzling over some diary
entrys. The parts about my being cursed especialy. I don�t remember
ever having been cursed to begin with. I shut that into a small corner
of my mind for later as Nene comes out towling herself off. I blush for
some strange reasion. *why am I blushing? We�re both girls after all.*
"Shower�s ready Ryu." I nod and head into the bathroom before Nene
has a chance to notice my blush. I slip out of my cloaths and step into
the shower, turning the water on I accadently get it to hot.
"Gaaahhhh�.thats hot!!!" I feel my body make the tranceformation from
catgirl to man and with it my memory returns.
"Are you alright in therer?"
Quickly I change the water from hot to cold and say, "Y-yes, I
accadently got the water to hot."
"Ok, I could have sworn there was a guy in there though."
"You must be hearing things."
"I guess so."
Stepping out of the shower towling off as much water as I can, then I
spend the next half hour blowdrying my furr. Before going to sleep I
write another entry in my diary.
Dear diary,
Today has been strainge to say the least. Last night I watched a
movie called Bubble Gum Crisis, and now it seems that I�m there. I have
no idea how I�m going to keep my curse a secret, but I�ll find a way. I
know one thing though, I�ll have to get a job and a place of my own.
Heh, I can�t look directly at Nene now without blushing anymore. Well I
hope things will get better.

writer�s note:
1. dunny = (n) an austrailian word meaning bathroom. Also known as a
boghouse or a thunder-box. Depending on where you are what is used.
2. Ryu seems to have suffered from a type of amnesia.
3. Ryu has a good ear and memory for songs and music so that is how she
was able to know how to play Konya Wa Hurricane.
