Well, you've read the other Mousse Introspection 'fics.  Mousse either
goes postal, or his skill and dedication eventually win him the love of

Crossover idea: Mousse's Delivery Service.  After having his heart broken
one time too many, Mousse gives up on Shampoo and opens shop as a carrier duck.

Shampoo, who suddenly realizes the amount of ridicule he goes through in
her name.  But isn't the life of Kuno Tatewaki similar to his? 

Think about it.  Kuno's the master of his particular Art, who challenges
the one he loves to win her favor, and to prove his skill to her.  In one
of the Ranma OAV's (I don't know which one, I just saw a short clip), he
has just been punched by Ranma-chan, and muses on how the "depths of his
pain he endures to prove his love". These are the same tactics that Mousse
attempts with Shampoo.  They both have no pride.  Feh.  Pathetic, both of
them.

That reminds me of some posts I saw a while ago (was it last year?) on how
Akane and Ukyou are perfect for each other.  How about a Kuno-Mousse match
(doesn't have to be yaoi, platonic friendship counts too)?

The two may not be completely the same; Mousse didn't incite all the boys
in the village to attack Shampoo daily, but all this just shows that Kuno
is an idiot in love.  And I deliberately paraphrased a quote from a well
written "Mousse 'fic" (don't remember which one, because I've read them so
long ago...)  to address that very reason (Even funny duck-men deserve
love -> But does a fool not deserve love?). 

Anyway, this is my reaction to those who claim that Mousse deserves a
break from Shampoo.  I respect everyone's opinions, but if you're going to
argue with that logic, you should fairly apply it to characters in the
same situations. Do you feel that Kuno "deserves a break" from Akane? 

Good point.  On the other hand, some people seem to feel Mousse is more
deserving than Kuno because he is more "loyal".  How many times do you see
Mousse upset because he can't choose between Shampoo and the Tree-Borne
Kettle Girl?

write a witty fic that tells me -why- I'm wrong.  Also, if anyone knows
the Mousse fanfic that I paraphrased the line from, please let me know!
