I always use very simple ideas in my stories.

For example, "Urusei Megamisama!" is an exercise in showing how closely
the two series fit together.

I've known how the last scene will flow for a long time and then I wrote
backwards from there to get it to fit.  (How could I change it, when I've
swiped it more-or-less directly from the sources?)

I find zillions of ideas along the way that I'm not sure I'll get to
actually use.  (Guess who should point out that I've got the mechanics of
Skuld's hyperspace power wrong?)
