Okay.  Can we _puh_lease stop this thread?  Let
the author choose how to tell the tale.  You
don't like it?  Erase the message from your inbox.

The FFML is for the express purpose of discussing fanfics and how
they're written.  No one is off-topic here.  As a matter of fact, topics
like these are what the FFML is all about.

And yes, it's ultimately up to the author to decide how he or she wants
to write the story.  But posting the story to the FFML is an invitation
to have other people express their opinions on how the story is written,
and to suggest alternatives.  Certainly that's what I hope for whenever
I post a story to the FFML.  While "This is great!" responses are always
appreciated, they don't help me as much as "I think such-and-so could
have been done better."
